In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All
praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. May His blessings and peace
be upon the Great Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and companions.
The first obligation for a Muslim is to believe in the meaning of
the two testimonies of faith and to firmly establish them in the heart. The
meaning of the phrase “Asyhadu An Laa Ilaaha Illalloh” is; I believe
and hold in my heart, and I also express to others, that there is no deity
worthy of worship except Allah. Indeed, He is the entity that needs no one,
while everything else is dependent on Him. He is the entity possessing all
perfect attributes, free from any shortcomings and thoughts. He has no peers,
offspring, and nothing resembles His entity, attributes, and actions. The
meaning of the phrase “Asyhadu Anna Muhammadan Rasulullah” is; 'I believe and
hold in my heart, and I also express to others, that our revered one, Muhammad
bin Abdullah, is a servant of Allah and simultaneously His messenger to all
creatures. He is truthful in everything he conveys, and it is obligatory for
all creatures to believe in and follow him. It is forbidden for them to lie
about him and violate his rules. Thus, whoever lies about him is considered
unjust and disbeliever, and whoever violates his rules is included among those
who commit transgressions (sins) and will incur losses. May Allah grant us ease
in following him, make us steadfast in his Sunnah, and include us among those
who bring his Shariah laws to life. May we die while adhering to our faith and,
in the end, gather us, our parents, our children, our siblings, our loved ones,
and all Muslims within his group.
Then, it is obligatory for a Muslim to study the conditions,
pillars, and factors that invalidate prayer.
